The possibilities are endless on what can be installed and how it can be installed. To that end we have created this page to give you an idea of the ways that our products can be installed into your vehicle. We have worked on a variety of vehicles from cars, to caravans, lorries, buses and also tractors.
Here at Veba our engineers have vast experience at working with automotive installs and have created many different bespoke installations for various worldwide vehicle manufactures. These installations vary from roof mount DVD players to centre console installations.
The image opposite shows an example of a prototype that was created for one of our clients. The concept was to incorporate a TFT LCD monitor and DVD player into the back of the front seats of the vehicle. This flash movie shows how the screen is incorporated into the back of the seat and how it moves into its display position.
We have also worked closely with various caravan and motor home companies to create a variety of install solutions for an ever growing market of users who, though they wish to be away from home still want some of the creature comforts they have grown to need, such as the radio and TV.
The image to the right shows how a roof mount monitor has been incorporated into the design of this motor home to allow the passengers to watch DVDs and TV while the home is on the move. This image shows how a DVD head unit can be discretely hidden into a caravan storage unit and allow the owners to be able to watch DVD's and play CD's while they relax in the comfort of their caravan.
Our engineers ever on the look out for a challenge have worked along side taxi and fleet car companies to supply both in-car entertainment for the customer and also reversing systems for safety.
An example of this can be seen here with a example of an AV installation into a taxi. The team fitted a pair of TFT LCD monitors to the back of the driver and passenger headrests, which a DVD player was mounted underneath the passenger seat. A remote control for the DVD player was flush mounted in to the centre console and finished with a velvet style cover.
This type of vehicle is the most challenging to work on because of the nature of the vehicle, unlike installations in a car, those into an HGV have to be done in such a way that they are easily accessible to the driver and also not intrusive, this is an issue due to the way that lorry cabs are set up meaning that there are limited places where AV equipment can be installed.

In this example the installation comprised of a rear mounted night vision camera linked to a TFT LCD monitor mounted into the drivers sun visor, this means that the driver is able to see the monitor without having to turn his head or body at a difficult angle. We have also created a unique DVD mounting bracket that can be positioned in the rear of the cab, allowing the driver to swivel the screen to a suitable viewing angle while relaxing in the back of the cab
We have previously worked with a leading tractor manufacturer for whom we designed, developed and installed a variety of bespoke systems.
An example of this is the bespoke bracket, created to hold a night vision camera. This meant that it was possible to mount it onto the rear pillar of the tractors cabin. This enables the driver to have an elevated rear view of the tractor whilst operating with machinery, through the monitor that is mounted within the cab.
